Dr. Trubow did an outstanding job of creating a book that is entertaining, easy to read and packed with information. Reading this book was like talking with a friend who just happens to be extremely knowledgeable about health issues caused by toxicity. She breaks everything down and encourages you to do what you can. After reading Dirty Girl I am more determined than ever to work on getting back to optimal health.

Engaging, eye-opening, and humor-filled book that manages to take pretty complex scientific concepts, i.e. the interplay between our environment and our biology, and present them in an easily-digestible format that makes it all come together. I found myself laughing a lot while reading this otherwise sobering account of the hazards to our health lurking around (and in) us. The book turned what used to be my "tunnel vision" into what is now a 360-degree panoramic view in terms of my awareness of these interactions. Highly recommend.
