Candy, getting to dress up as a favorite character, and getting to hangout with friends after dark? Halloween is most definitely an exciting holiday for kids (and adults too- we must admit we sneak some of our kids candy from time to time)!

If you are looking for ways to keep Halloween fun while also sneaking in some nutrient-rich treats, look no further! Check out these ideas below to get ready for this year’s spooky holiday.

To avoid all of the added sugar without taking the fun out of Halloween, aim for treats with simpler ingredients such as:
