Tamer Khafagy, MD
As an internist and hospital medicine physician serving the Boston area for over 20 years, I have always been committed to compassionate, evidence-based care. Over time, my interest in helping patients achieve lasting wellness led me to expand beyond conventional medicine and pursue advanced training in longevity, integrative medicine, and medical acupuncture.
Today, my approach combines traditional medicine with personalized lifestyle and functional strategies that focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness. I work closely with patients to support long-term health through nutrition, metabolic health, sleep optimization, stress management, movement, and emotional wellbeing.
I believe true health is more than the absence of disease — it is having the energy, resilience, and vitality to fully enjoy life. My goal is to empower each patient with an individualized, sustainable plan that supports healing and overall wellbeing.
Some of the most meaningful experiences of my career have included volunteer medical work in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake and serving underserved communities in Egypt.
