Ashley Gerlach, FNP-C
Ashley is committed to delivering compassionate, holistic care that supports patients in achieving their wellness goals and living their healthiest lives.
First, as a nurse, Ashley gained experience working with cardiac patients before pursuing her graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University. After completing her studies, she returned to Massachusetts to practice as a nurse practitioner, where she continued to deepen her expertise in both cardiac care and internal medicine.
Her journey into functional medicine began as a patient. After months of experiencing unresolved, progressive symptoms, Ashley was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease by a functional medicine provider. This pivotal experience not only led to her recovery but also transformed her perspective as a healthcare professional and inspired her to pursue formal training in functional medicine.
Passionate about education, Ashley takes the time to ensure her patients fully understand their care plans. She is especially committed to uncovering the root causes of health issues—looking “upstream”—to create meaningful, lasting improvements in her patients’ health and well-being.
