Maren Brown, RN
Maren distinctly remembers the day she found Five Journeys- she was in nursing school browsing the web to find a way she could be a nurse and care for patients with a root cause approach.
Despite being in some of the best hospitals in the country for nursing school clinicals, she felt like something was missing from the care that was being provided to patients. A year later her career in functional medicine began. Maren has been with Five Journeys since March of 2021 and previously worked in homecare, outpatient pediatrics, and at Restore Hyper Wellness.
Maren’s favorite part of her job is learning more about functional medicine every day, developing relationships with her beloved patients, and placing IVs! She has a degree in Exercise and Health Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she was a 4-year member of the women’s hockey team. Maren then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northeastern University.

If I wasn't a nurse, I would be a professional squirrel-keeper.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to the beach, exercising, and trying out new restaurants in the city.
