BioBlast is a unique enzyme formulation designed to break up the biofilm matrix that embeds gastrointestinal organisms. Biofilm consists of microorganisms encased within a self-produced matrix of exopolysaccharides and exoproteins that adheres to interfaces. BioBlast is specially designed to disrupt the biofilm matrix that embeds gastrointestinal organisms. The enzymes in BioBlast are selected for their ability to lyse the extracellular polymers commonly found in biofilm and to degrade bacterial and yeast cell wall structures. The enzyme blend in BioBlast was developed to support a normal gastrointestinal function and microbiota. The capsules should be taken away from meals to maximize the enzyme effects.
