Liposomal EDTA with R-Lipoic Acid is a highly absorbable form of the chelating agent ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), delivered together with R-lipoic acid, which is noted for its antioxidant, detoxification, and metal-binding properties. This highly bioavailable liposomal blend is designed to bind a wide range of metals.
The product contains EDTA (Calcium Disodium EDTA) and R-Lipoic Acid, which are both chelating agents and antioxidants. They are used to reduce oxidative stress, support detoxification, and support overall cellular and organ health. EDTA is a well-known chelating agent designed to bind to metals. It also supports cardiovascular and kidney health. R-Lipoic Acid, the more bioavailable form of alpha-lipoic acid, acts as a mitochondrial antioxidant. Both compounds support immune function and provide support for cognitive, cardiovascular, and systemic detoxification benefits. The product uses Quicksilver Delivery Systems® for enhanced bioavailability and cellular absorption.
The formula also contains Choline, which contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, the maintenance of normal liver function, and normal lipid metabolism.
